The roof ended up looking fine but the roofers left hundreds of nails in the lawn along with pieces of asphalt shingles, cigarette butts and coffee cups. I realize you won't get every nail when leaving a roofing job, but hundreds are not acceptable. And it's never acceptable to leave you trash—cigarette butts and coffee cups (1)—in someone's lawn. Now we have to score the whole lawn before we can put our baby down outside to crawl around.
